If it’s Spring, then it must be time for Southeast Atlanta’s premier neighborhood event! The 6th Annual Ormewood Park Makers Festival will be held on Saturday, May 18 from 11:00am to 6:00pm. It will be adjacent to the Ormewood Church, radiating outward from the intersection of Woodland Avenue and Delaware Avenue.
The 2023 edition continued the growth of the Festival, as once again great weather greeted the thousands of attendees who enjoyed a wide array of booths, food vendors, live music, and workshops.
This year’s lineup will build on this progress, including arts & crafts, jewelry, furniture, clothing, and food vendors representing local favorites as well as pop-ups from emerging talents. East Atlanta Kids Club will once again assist with a children’s area featuring activities, face painters and more. Halfway Crooks Beer is returning as the official beer sponsor of this year’s festival.
The stage will return to Magnolia Grove to host a lineup of local bands, including returning favorites along with some exciting new entrants. Ormewood Park’s own PreDawn Pours are playing again, along with Questionable at Best, Crooked Roots, Mudcat, Jeremy Ray, Jackson County Line, and others.
The Ormewood Park Makers Festival was founded in 2017 to celebrate the belief that to ‘make’ is to simply create. Through craftsmanship, artistic ingenuity, and sheer passion, makers enrich their surroundings and bring communities together. The Festival is presented by South Atlantans for Neighborhood Development (SAND).
