If one of your New Year’s resolutions is to get more involved in the community, have you considered EACA? The East Atlanta Community Association is currently looking for Committee Leaders as well new general members.
Some of the key leadership positions that are looking for new people and new ideas:
Arts and Culture: Seeks to promote artistic and cultural opportunities as a way to foster social connection and growth within the community.
Communications: Works to ensure the community stays aware of initiatives and connected with each other through social media, newsletters, and other channels.
Parents Network: Helps local parents meet, share experiences, and discuss issues important to them and their children.
Membership: Works to attract members to EACA and design an experience that enables them to find the information they need, participate and lead initiatives that they are passionate about, and connect with their community.
Events: Plans and leads events throughout the year that help EACA achieve their mission of connecting the community.
If you’re interested in participating, or would like more information about volunteering for EACA or one of its committees, please email membership@eaca.net. EACA meets every second Tuesday of the month, at 7:00pm, currently via Zoom.
