Cocktails and Seasonal Fare at the LP Grant Mansion

By Alex Lampert
Community Farmers Markets (CFM) is partnering with the Atlanta Preservation Center to host Thankful Harvest, a harvest celebration held on November 15 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. The event will occur at the historic Lemuel Pratt Grant Mansion located at 327 St. Paul Avenue. The beautiful evening will feature cocktails, seasonal fare, and live music in a spirit of gratitude for two wonderful Grant Park community institutions: the Atlanta Preservation Center and the Grant Park Farmers Market.
Chef Sarah O’Brien of The Little Tart and Chef David Sweeney will prepare a bounty of seasonal fare. The plethora of delightful canapes will ensure that all guests’ dinner appetites will be satisfied while allowing guests to roam freely throughout the event. Bartender Paul Calvert of the soon-to-open Ticonderoga Club will offer two cocktails featuring locally sourced ingredients. Local musician Peter Webb will perform at the event, creating a memorable soundscape for the evening. Guests are invited to enjoy the LP Grant Mansion and explore Atlanta’s history embedded in this beautiful setting.
Tickets for the event cost $45, which includes food and beverages. They can be purchased via Brown Paper Tickets at http://cfmthankfulharvest.bpt.me. A portion of the event proceeds will benefit the Erskine Fountain Fund and the Grant Park Farmers Market’s education and outreach programs.
