The Friends of East Atlanta Library will hold its annual book sale again as part of the East Atlanta Strut on Saturday, September 17. It will be held at the OLD Fire Station at the corner of Flat Shoals and Metropolitan.
If you like to handle real books (as opposed to those eBook things), volunteer to help sort donated books. From August 22 to September 9, sorting will happen Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:30am to noon. For further information, call 404-377-0377.
The annual book sale is the Friends’ major fundraiser each year. Proceeds from the sale are used to support the library’s programs and special needs. The Friends of East Atlanta Library is a 501(c) nonprofit volunteer group.
