Burgess Peterson Academy Art Show Coming to Library

Following the March High School Art Show, The Friends of East Atlanta library are mounting a showing of artwork from Burgess Peterson Academy at the library branch. Mr. Cosmo Whyte, art teacher at the elementary school, has gathered work from all grade levels. The show will go up on April 11 and stay through the middle of May. There will be a judging of the show by a team of local artists and awards will be made at a reception during the Friends Board Meeting on April 20 at 6:00pm.
The show will be on display on the Gallery Wall of the Meeting Room. Visitors to meetings at the Library enjoy the artwork of regularly scheduled shows there throughout the year. To get access at other times, art lovers can ask at the library’s circulation desk. The library is located at 400 Flat Shoals Avenue in East Atlanta Village.
