Neighbors, come and jump start your holiday shopping and support your community at the third annual Park Avenue Artist Market. Find some unique gifts for everyone on your list, by shopping local and supporting small businesses. Shop from 25 local artists selling their handmade arts and crafts while listening to live music. Sip on wine or freshly brewed coffee while your children make s’mores cones over the fire pit! Be sure to enter to win from over $1,000 worth of raffle items from local Grant Park and Ormewood Park businesses, ranging from restaurant gift cards, yoga and massage packages, to family photography sessions!
The event will be hosted by Park Avenue Baptist Church on Saturday, November 11 from 11:00am to 6:00pm. Admission is free. The event entrance will be at street level on Park Avenue, which is across the street from the northeast corner of Grant Park on Park Avenue and Sydney Street.
All proceeds benefit local community support projects including professional counseling scholarships for those in need, weekly after school programming empowering young minds, summer literacy camps for children in our neighborhood who are reading below grade level, and the community Clothes Closet helping meet pressing clothing needs in our neighborhood.
