GPCP Invites You to the Farmhouse Soiree

By Christy Pensinger
Grant Park Cooperative Preschool’s highly anticipated annual auction will be held February 22 at the stylishly transformed former Claxton Printing Building on Woodward Avenue in Grant Park. Open to the public, GPCP welcomes parents and singles alike to join them for an evening themed around their “Farm to School” initiative while enjoying adult beverages, auction fun, and live music. There will be delicious bites from local neighborhood chefs and restaurants including Chef David Sweeney, Chef Guy Wong, Chef Todd Richards of The Shed, Six Feet Under, Octane Coffee Bar, The Little Tart Bakeshop, and many more.
This year’s live music features music headliner Bryan Gibson and Friends. Gibson, a professional cello player, works collaboratively with other talented musicians to combine classical sounds from his cello with country, bluegrass, and rock. Listen to some of his music here: The evening also promises to enlighten your ears with opening acts from a curated, talented mix of other local musicians.
Save the date for this memorable evening of fun and philanthropy. Auction items typically include shopping, dining, and entertaining experiences at intown favorites, artwork from local artists, and highly coveted class projects. 100% of the proceeds support the school. Please be aware that GPCP’s Farmhouse Soiree is an ADULT ONLY event.
