Mother’s Day is rapidly approaching. The question of what to get or do for her is a question that takes over the mind of many during this time of year. Flowers and a card are the most traditional, but why not think outside of the box this year? Give her the gift of dance! You can choose from fitness classes like Zumba, hip-hop classes, or even technique classes like Adult Ballet.
Another idea is to celebrate her with a break from the kids. Dance 411 is offering a five-day Spring Break Camp on April 4-8 for ages 5-13 at all levels. Summer Break Camp will start on May 30, with a theme for each week and a performance at the end of each week. Parents’ eyes will light up at the sight of their little one displaying what they learned in camp.
On April 20, the nonprofit Dance 411 Foundation will be offering a “Build Your Brand and Headshots” event providing support, training, and networking opportunities for young entrepreneurs. The event will include a resume workshop titled “What Agents See.” The foundation continues its mission to foster the wellbeing of urban youth and adults by providing a free event that features motivational events and workshops like D.R.E.A.M. (Dance Rules Everything Around Me) on May 7. The Dance 411 Foundation continues to work toward their vision of becoming the premier provider of arts based education and training in and around the Metro Atlanta Area.
