On Saturday, October 6 at 10:00am, St. Paul United Methodist Church will host its annual Blessing of the Animals service in Grant Park. The service is open to all residents of the area and their pets. If your pet does not travel well, please bring a picture. We will assemble behind the Milledge Fountain on Cherokee. Please bring chairs and blankets if you wish. In addition there will be a memorial banner for you to record the name(s) of your deceased pets.
Representatives from Healthy Hound and City Kitty will be on hand to provide information on pet health and provide refreshments for your pets.
Reverend Ellen Hopkins, newly appointed pastor of St. Paul’s, will officiate.
