A summer Vacation Bible School called Sky will be hosted at Park Avenue Baptist Church from Sunday, June 10, to Thursday, June 14, at 6:00pm-8:15pm each day. At Sky, faith and imagination soar as kids discover that everything is possible with God. Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and dig into yummy treats, experience electrifying Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them to trust God, and test Sciency-Fun Gizmos. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Kids at Sky VBS will also join an international mission’s effort to squash malaria in the African country of Mali—sending mosquito nets to protect Malian children.
Each day concludes with Fly Away Finale—a celebration that gets everyone involved in living what they have learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join in daily for this special time at 8:00pm. There will also be a special Sky VBS Sunday Worship on June 17 at 11:00am where all participants are invited to share their VBS experience through leading in song, scripture, and stories from the week.
