On Sunday, November 4 at 11:00am, Park Avenue Baptist Church will host its first ever Celebration of Music service. This service will feature the Park Avenue Choir in addition to special musicians and vocalists.
While the service will focus on worship as expressed through gospel music, the ensemble will also employ traditional, classical, and modern musical expressions. Under the leadership of recognized musician and Woodward Academy music director Steve Rotz, the worship ministry of Park Avenue has developed into a very diverse ensemble bringing the beautiful traditions of the church to light with a modern and current feel. The ensemble leads worship every Sunday in the Park Avenue sanctuary located at 486 Park Avenue across from Grant Park. Everyone is invited each Sunday and especially for the special musical service on November 4.
