Dr. Suess wasn’t at Kingfisher Academy during the week of his birthday, but he was sure there in spirit! Everyone brought their favorite Suess book to share. Children wore all their clothes backwards one day and wore their fancy pajamas the next day. Teachers cooked green eggs and ham (using some of the first eggs from our laying hens) and everyone agreed that they were Suess-a-licious. The wonderful wacky week ended with a movie trip to see The Lorax. Kingfisher never lets a holiday go un-celebrated and the kids think Dr. Suess would be pleased.
