On Saturday, March 24, from 11:00am to 2:00pm a free soup and bread community lunch will be held at the First Iconium Baptist Church at 542 Moreland Avenue. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
You are invited to join the Southeast Atlanta Faith Collaborative in Grant Park, SAND andEast Atlantaas we build relationships with the churches, agencies, and community-based organizations of Neighborhood Planning Unit-W. This will set the stage for the collaborative to begin to do some problem-solving in the areas of mental health, housing, jobs, and youth within the community. You can Google the Southeast Atlanta Faith Collaborative for more information. The next planning meeting will be Tuesday, February 21 at 6:30pm at First Iconium.
The lunch is hosted by St. Paul United Methodist Church, Park Avenue Baptist Church, Georgia Avenue Community Ministry Church, The Rock Church of Atlanta, City Camp/Wilderness Works, Holy Comforter Episcopal Church, First Iconium Baptist Church, Martha Brown United Methodist Church, and Southern Ministry Network.
