Christmas is coming! Before you know it, we’ll be gathered around the tree unwrapping presents. It’s a wonderful time of year. At Park Avenue Baptist Church, everyone is especially excited about the Christmas season. In an effort to get into the Christmas spirit, they have been filling shoeboxes with toys for Operation Christmas Child, and they’ve partnered with Pride for Parents to support families in southeast Atlanta through their annual toy and gift sale.
On Christmas Eve, December 24, there will be a gathering to celebrate the birth of Jesus. They’d love for you to be there; the worship service begins at 5:00pm. Together, all will fill the air with the sound of Christmas carols and listen to as the story of Jesus’ birth is told anew. In addition, there will be a communion service on Christmas day at 11:00am. Both services will be casual, and everyone is invited.
