Oakland Cemetery’s iconic Sunday in the Park event returns for its 46th year on September 29, and tickets are on sale now. This vibrant celebration of Atlanta’s rich heritage will once again feature the Tunes from the Tombs music festival, led this year by Grammy-nominated Southern Avenue, whose music seamlessly fuses blues, soul, and gospel influences. They’l be followed by Atlanta acts All the Locals, who deliver an alluring blend of blues, neo-soul, and rock-and-roll; The Judies, whose sound mixes jazz, rock, pop, and ska; and KymBerli Dee, whose soulful melodies echo with contemporary jazz and R&B. The family-friendly event will also feature dozens of local vendors, food trucks, craft beer, and engaging free guided tours that delve into the untold stories of Atlanta’s diverse past.
