The sixth annual Holiday Faire at the Children’s Garden Preschool will be held on Saturday, December 10 from 11:00am to 4:00pm at 486 Park Avenue in Grant Park. The Holiday Faire is a community event focusing on sharing the magic and wonder of the winter holiday season with families and their young children.
The Holiday Faire offers a variety of activities for children and families, including face painting, games, crafts, and a puppet show. Adults can browse the Artisan Market to find handmade items of particular interest to families with young children. Children can visit the Wee Folk Shoppe, where a Frost Fairy guides each child to pick a handmade gift for their loved ones. Each gift is wrapped, labeled, and placed in the child’s shopping bag. All gifts in the Wee Folk Shoppe cost $1.50.
The Bake Shoppe will feature homemade treats, drinks, and coffee. Doggy Dog will provide the same delicious dogs they serve at the Grant Park Farmer’s Market, as well as vegetarian options.
The Holiday Faire is a staff and family-run event. It will be held rain or shine at The Children’s Garden Preschool. Admission is free, and tickets for Wee Folk Shoppe and other activities can be purchased using cash, check, or credit card.
