Story Fest to Feature Scarlet, Fiddler, Abe and Critters

The 2014 BATL Frontlines Story Fest will take place at two different locations on the Battlefield throughout the day on Saturday July 19th in the East Atlanta Library and near Gilliam Park in Kirkwood. The fest features professional storytellers and living history actors. The Wrens Nest Ramblers and the Southern Order of Storytellers are bringing a great lineup and Scarlett will be there!

Featured performers will be Fiddlin’ Dan the Mountain Man aith a show for kids under 7 and their parents, Dennis Boggs as Abraham Lincoln, Jimmy Jacobs as Andersonville Prison Guard and Mableton founder Robert Mable, and Natalie Jones with a story about a family that could not escape the war. By request Akbar and Mama Koku will return to do Brer Rabbit and other family favorites.
