The Grant Park Parent Network enjoyed a great Summer Social on June 22. The next event is “Bits & Pieces” which will feature children’s sculpture on July 22 with an artist reception and gallery exhibition on July 23. Another event in the works is a return to school party in August, a puppet show, a scarecrow contest, a Halloween costume and lantern parade, and a December holiday event. All of the events rely on volunteers, but people are needed to create, promote, and deliver the fun too.
