Community Farmers Markets announces the beginning of their Farmers Market Season with the opening of the East Atlanta Village Farmers Market on Thursday, April 10, and the Grant Park Farmers Market on Sunday, April 13. Both markets feature locally grown vegetables and fruits, organic meats, dairy, and eggs and other artisan products for sale and highlight local chefs, arts and community groups each week. Both markets also accept cash, credit, debit and DOUBLE EBT/SNAP.
The East Atlanta Village Farmers Market, considered the town square of the East Atlanta neighborhood, is open this season every Thursday from April 12 through December from 4:00 – 8:00 pm. The Grant Park Farmers Market, situated in Atlanta’s oldest city park, is open this season every Sunday from April 12 through December from 9:30 – 1:30.
