Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School is getting ready for its 11th annual Run with the Wolves 5K and 1 Mile, happening on Saturday, May 6. This fun and challenging walk/run is open to everyone who wants to participate in a family-friendly event promoting healthy lifestyle choices and fitness awareness.

Organized by the PTCA, the Run with the Wolves 5K and 1-Mile is a Peachtree Road Race qualifier that has become a tradition for the community. The 5K event starts at 8:15am, and the 1-Mile event starts at 9:00am. Early registration is available until May 1, and on-site registration is available on race day.

Register before April 21, and you will receive a commemorative race bag with a limited edition Run with the Wolves t-shirt. After that date, race shirts will not be guaranteed. The course map for both the 5K and 1-Mile events can be found on the Run with the Wolves website.

The event takes place at the Neighborhood Charter School Middle School Campus located at 820 Essie Avenue. Neighborhood Charter School encourages participants to carpool, walk, or bike to the event, as parking is limited. Street parking is available, but we ask that everyone be courteous of fellow runners and neighbors and follow all city parking laws.

The 5K is priced at $25 for Neighborhood Charter School students, parents/caregivers, and teacher/staff early registration, and $30 for general public early registration. The 1-Mile is priced at $20 for Neighborhood Charter School students, parents/caregivers, and teacher/staff early registration, and $25 for general public early registration.

Volunteers are needed to help with race day activities, including registration, course monitoring, and water stations. Volunteers can sign up at the Run with the Wolves website at runsignup.com/Race/GA/Atlanta/ANCSRunWithTheWolves. For more information about the race, visit the website or email runwiththewolves@atlncs.org.
