Relish Salon announces the opening of Relish Jr., a sensory-friendly kids’ salon in southeast Atlanta. Opened on Saturday, November 15, Relish Jr. offers cool cuts and color for kids ages 0 through 12 in a laid-back environment that both kids and grown-ups can enjoy. The new kids’ salon features shampoos, conditioners, and styling products specially formulated for babies, children, and tweens, and vintage-esque candy, toys, games, and accessories.
Located next door to Relish Salon at 924 Garrett Street in Glenwood Park, Relish Jr. will also play host to kid-inspired events and classes including arts & crafts, story hour, movie nights, and birthday parties. Sunday afternoons in December, Relish Jr. is presenting a Frozen (yes, the movie) Arts & Crafts series, where each week kids will make Frozen-inspired crafts including icy jewels, a wand, and a crown or snowman. All materials, homemade snacks, and drinks will be provided. Relish stylists will also be on hand doing Elsa or Anna braids, make-up, and nails. Classes are $20 per child (each class) or $50 for three classes. Classes are limited to six kids; call 404-748-1906 to reserve a space.
