Jean Hallman
Dance 411’s acclaimed children’s program will host scores of community children at summer camps beginning May 30. There is still time to register, but you must sign up soon to take advantage of early bird pricing.
Summer dance and acting camps will build on students creative skills helping them to become better all-around performers. Training will include theatre, ballet, hip hop, jazz, and specialty classes. Students will also participate in acting, writing, and set design. All skill levels are welcome from beginner to advanced performers. Each week of dance and acting camp has a theme including Afro-Caribbean, Salsa, Broadway, and more.
Classes are led by talented and experienced instructors. Camp Director Samara Michelle has been in education for over 20 years and is thrilled to begin her fifth summer at Dance 411. “The end of the week shows are amazing,” said Michelle. “I am surprised each week how much the children learn and how creative they are.”
Prices for summer dance and acting camp start at only $19, and camp begins May 30 running through August 4. Camp hours are 9:00am until 4:00pm, with extended hours available 8:00am to 6:00pm. Camp includes children ages 5 to 13 years old, and all experience levels are welcome. For more information on the camp, or to register, go to www.KidsDance411.com.
