We are saddened to announce that the 2020 Candlelight Tour of Homes is canceled due to the global pandemic. In what would’ve been our 40th anniversary year, we simply cannot risk the safety of our homeowners, our guests, and the dozens of volunteers we typically recruit in order to host the event.
However, Christmas has not been canceled! Please stay tuned for details on how we intend to celebrate the season this year. Likely a one-day event, St. Paul UMC is going to plan something for the same weekend we traditionally hold the Tour of Homes on Saturday, December 12. We hope to involve artists and musicians to help preserve some semblance of what has become a special tradition in Grant Park.
In the meantime, please also know that church has not been canceled. St. Paul continues to hold weekly services online and do our mission work in the community, particularly serving those neighbors who have been hit hardest by current economic conditions. Therefore, we ask that you consider a small donation to help replace the proceeds of what is typically our largest fundraising event of the year. Please visit www.CandlelightTourOfHomes.com for a donation link, or call the office at 404-688-7501 to find out how you can drop off a check. Thank you very much.
