Everyone who knows me, knows my interest (obsession?) in politics – just take a look at the yard signs I’ve planted. That interest comes directly from the belief that good government makes a difference in our lives (bad government does too). And good government begins with the election of talented, intelligent, reasonable, and respected people.
I’ve started a little project to hopefully do three things. 1. To give voters a chance to hear directly from Democrat candidates running in the May 19 primary, just around the corner. Remember, information is power. 2. To generate enthusiasm and participation for the General Election. And 3. Make sure the candidates know about our part of town.
How do I propose to do this? I have invited candidates to have a conversation about themselves, their issues and their plans. These conversations (about 20 minutes each) are recorded, very lightly edited, and posted on YouTube by searching for ElectionATL26 or at www.youtube.com/@Bolsterpaul44. No endorsements. No rants. Just an opportunity to hear more than a sound bite from the person seeking your vote.
Some conversations are already posted. The two candidates for Attorney General give you a chance to compare Tanya Miller and Bob Trammell. There are more conversations in more political races to come. Listen at your convenience.
