Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 15, when Shmooze-A-Palooza 2025 comes to East Atlanta. Starting at 2:00pm, neighbors and small business owners will have an opportunity to chit-chat and shmooze it up, at the EAV Farmers Market, located at 572 Stokeswood Avenue. The event will highlight participating small businesses from The Southern Shmooze and EABA (East Atlanta Business Association) that provide East Atlanta, and the metro area, with quality contractors, service providers, and goods.
Co-hosted by the East Atlanta Business Association and The Southern Shmooze, this event marries community and commerce; think of it as Networking + Festival. From 2:00pm to 6:00pm, the business portion includes a SmallBiz Vendor Market with home repair experts from the Shmooze, and a variety of service and product providers from EABA. Vendor participation is free for EABA or Shmooze members in case you’d like to join one of the organizations before the event. Shmooze-A-Palooza is free and open to the public, so neighbors can mingle and connect with local businesses for their home and business needs.
The evening begins at 6:30pm at 529 EAV as local bands take the stage for the music fest portion. Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door, with all proceeds and donations going back into the East Atlanta community via the Georgia Works program. The goal is to support a month or more of weekly cleanups in East Atlanta Village; a total of $2,100 needed.
