EAPN Wet & Wild Brings 150 People to Brownwood Park

By Chiara Girardi

Is there a better way to treat the summer heat than with water play and shaved ice?

The East Atlanta Parent Network (EAPN) turned the beloved East Atlanta’s Brownwood Park into a water park on Sunday August 25. One hundred and fifty people from the neighborhood came to celebrate the end of summer with many water activities: kiddie pools, water guns, colorful floats, and splash pads. The recently renovated playground kept kids that are not fans of water play well entertained too.

Red’s Beer Garden provided hot dogs to hungry families, and Kona Ice helped everybody cool off with some delicious shaved ice. Wet & Wild was made possible by the support of The Pelvis Pro, Atlanta’s Women’s Pelvic Health Therapist.
