EAPN Jumps Right in with Fall Fest

By Kessa Frantz

EAPN hosted a Fall Fest to remember on November 17 during a takeover of the EAV Farmer’s Market. Over a hundred kids and families enjoyed the bounce house, facepainting by Ms. Susi, nature crafts led by Soulshine, balloon animal creations by The Pelvis Pro, Chalk art by IG @JessiQueenArt and music jams by Noah.

Eggroll Daddy dished out delicious eggrolls and fries in exciting flavor combinations, Craft cocktails were served by Tip Top, and ice-cold beer locally sourced from Halfway Crooks. At least two dogs from Lifeline Animal Services were adopted into their forever home including my new family member, Pheobe. Attendees also assembled care packages with hygiene packs, snacks, and socks for individuals without stable housing within our community.

This event was the last hurrah for EAPN’s fearless leader, Carleen Sutton, who has led the organization to serve up some epic events that support families and the larger EAV community. Fall Fest was made possible by our amazing supporters The Pelvis Pro, Halfway Crooks, Tip Top, Eggroll Daddy, and Soulshine.
