Community Events Boast Success for Kids

By Jean Hallman
Dance 411 thanks the community for the tremendous support of Behind The Movement (BTM) in October. The showcase was a night of dance and art designed by creative director Jeremy Green to encourage community involvement and support of the Dance 411 Performance Company. The event was a huge success.
In November, a benefit breakfast was hosted by Dance 411 Kids Company and Behind The Movement. The breakfast featured performances from company kids and their inspirational stories. All funds raised at the breakfast will help talented children who cannot afford dance training, competition fees, and uniforms. BTM and Dance 411 Kids Company are dedicated to supporting all children who love to dance, regardless of gender, race, religion, or socioeconomic status.
“It was a delight to see so much community support for our kids,” said Sindy Schneider, owner of Dance 411 Studios. “We love seeing these kids get a chance to demonstrate their God given talent and potential.” The community event attracted several local officials, including Atlanta Council Member Carla Smith, Georgia State House Representative David Dreyer, Fulton County Soil and Water Conservation Chairman Alan Toney, and Atlanta Council Member Natalyn Mosby Archibong.
