Grant Park Farmers Market. 1040 Grant Street (The Beacon). Sundays, 9:00am-1:00pm, year-round (closed December 28, 2024 & January 4. 2025).

Grant Park Conservancy, Project G.R.A.N.T. (Greenspace Restoration and Neighborhood Teamwork). Second Saturday of every month. Choose from the morning session, 9:00am-12:00pm, or the 1:30pm-4:30pm afternoon session. To sign up, see www.gpconservancy.org.  

Streets Alive. https://www.atlantastreetsalive.org. Sunday, November 17 1:00-5pm – Ralph David Abernathy Blvd & Georgia Avenue. Atlanta Streets Alive opens streets temporarily for constituents to bike, walk, skate, dance, and play. It’s free to the public; the event turns the street into a park space that connects our city! Atlanta Streets Alive is part of an international open streets movement happening in many cities throughout the U.S., Canada, and around the world.

EAST ATLANTA

East Atlanta Business Association (EABA) General Meeting. 3rd Tuesday of the month, 6:00pm-8:00pm, includes socializing, snacks, the meeting, and 1⁄2 hour set aside for networking. Check out: www.Eastatlantabiz.com for meeting location and to find out more.

EABA Board Meeting. 1st Tuesday of every month, 6:00pm. East Atlanta Chess Club. Meetings every Wednesday at Branan Towers, 1200 Glenwood Avenue. Weekly rated tournament 6:00pm-10:00pm, and free play for those players who want to play casually. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

EAV Farmers Market. 572 Stokeswood Avenue, 4:00pm-8:00pm. Local farmers and vendors bring their wares every Thursday afternoon. Shop, eat, socialize.  Closed November 15 for the rest of 2024. 

EAPN Fall Festival, EAV Farmers Market. Sunday, November 17 3:00-5:00pm

This chilly time of year brings you the best fall festival around from the East Atlanta Parent’s Network, with its classic activities, such as Play-Doh, Legos, facepainting, and ride on toys, plus exciting fall-themed activities, and live music. Check out the vendors too. It’s always a wonderful time to network with other parents and let the kids run wild.

Annual Giving Thanks Community Potluck Dinner. Thursday, November 21. 4:00 Market Opens, 6:00 Potluck Begins @ EAV Farmers Market. Share a meal with friends and neighbors at the annual Giving Thanks Potluck to end the 2024 Farmers Market season. The market is open for shopping. If you are bringing a dish, please arrive by 5:30 and bring your own cup, plates, and utensils.

EAPN Holiday Hootenanny. Friday, December 8, 3:00pm-5:00pm Brownwood Recreation Center, 602 Brownwood Avenue. Our first ever multicultural holiday event will feature Santa photos. We will have crafts and activities celebrating Hanukkah, Christmas, and Kwanza. Please bring a new, unwrapped toy for our toy drive.

Tiny Doors & Friends 2. ABV Gallery 1206 Metropolitan Avenue. Group Exhibition October 26-November 16. Gallery Hours: Mon-Wed • 10:00am-5:00pm; Thursday • 10:00am-7:00pm; Friday • 10:00am-7:00pm; Saturday • 11:00am-7:00pm; Sunday • 11:00am-5:00pm. Join ABV as they celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Tiny Doors ATL, with a huge collaborative show. Over eighty incredible artists are bringing their unique styles to a door created by Tiny Doors ATL, making this an exhibition you don’t want to miss. All works will be available for purchase via online auction and in the gallery.

Outerspace Project and Big Bang, Sponsored by ABV Gallery. 1206 Metropolitan Avenue and other Atlanta locations, November 18-23. The Outerspace Project returns to Atlanta this fall It is an event series that merges public art, live music, design, and culture with an outdoor mural project at its core, culminating with the final party and Big Bang, combining all elements of the event.

EABA presents the EAV Street Art Tour. Saturday, November 16, Meet at 2:45pm, Tour at 3:00pm. Meet at the corner of Joseph and Glenwood Avenues (next to Southern Feed Store)

Join EABA as they partner with Arthur Rudick, creator of the Atlanta Street Art Map, for a guided walking tour through East Atlanta. Explore the murals that make this neighborhood one of the city’s best outdoor art galleries. This one-mile walking tour will cover standard city sidewalks and is wheelchair accessible. Tickets: $20. BATL Walking Tours – Civil War Battle of Atlanta. Various Sunday afternoons each month in the Porch Press neighborhoods. 3:00pm in March and 2:00pm the rest of the year.
