One of our neighborhood’s “don’t miss social events” of the year brings together city council members, presidents, and people who just like to eat, dance and socialize. The BATL Gala at the East Lake Golf Club is a fundraiser for battlefield monument restoration and the BATL event. This year on Saturday night July 12th, it will again feature Motown sounds from Nat George and his band. It is hard to say what attendees like more: the dance music, the food, the silent auction or the good company. Tickets are $65 each or neighbors can get a table of 10 friends together for just $500.
