Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School’s Fall Festival a Big Success

by Rachel Ezzo
The ANCS Fall Festival this year was another successful neighborhood event. ANCS had an afternoon of family fun, bake sale, reptile show, juggler, food, pumpkin bowling, ponies, and more! For the first time ever the event also included a pie-eating contest – enjoyed by kids and adults alike! ANCS would like to thank the volunteers, sponsors, and vendors for making this event possible! A special thank you is due to Harvest Sponsors: Red Robin Realty, City Council President Ceasar Mitchell, Laura Goddard Style, Pellerin Real Estate, Mediterranea, Dance 411, Crews, Intown Healthy Hound, Mo Ivory, Ormewood Animal Hospital, Intown Pediatrics, Language International Kids, and Crossfit Downtown Atlanta.
Proceeds from the event go to support the programming provided by the Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School’s Parent Teacher Community Association (PTCA). The PTCA provides educational enrichment activities for students and supports a variety of initiatives and events, including teacher appreciation, mini-grants for teachers and staff, in-school field trips such as art and science programs, and committees on issues such as sustainability and health and wellness. You can read more about the ANCS PTCA at http://atlncs.org/ptca.
