Father-Daughter Formal a Hit

By Jean Hallman
On March 5, fathers and daughters dressed in formal attire for the first Father-Daughter Dance at Dance 411 Studios. The event was held to raise money for the Kid’s Program end-of-year recital.
Approximately 20 families participated in the event. Fathers in black ties escorted their daughters to the studio in their black ties. The daughters wore flowing gowns in a rainbow of colors. The evening was filled with a variety of music consisting of present and past hits.
The program is now preparing for the 2011 Kid’s MTV Awards Recital on June 4. Last year’s show had over 400 people in attendance. The 2011 show is expecting over 500 attendees. Several additional fundraisers are still underway to raise funds for the end-of-year show. A Kids Yearbook is in production. Ads are being sold to cover the cost and benefit the show. Yearbooks will be handed out at the recital. To purchase an ad, contact the studio for more details.
