Public Official Update
Item One – Public Safety: APD Zone 6 & Fire Station 10 Update – Lt. Watkins (Morning Watch Commander, Zone 6) attended. Crime is down, but the only thing seen in Grant Park is vehicle break-ins. The vast majority of them are people leaving things in their vehicle, like bags, etc. Please don’t leave anything in your vehicle for people to see. Lt. Watkins can be reached at jwatkins@atlantaga.gov. Neighbors that still need a club for vehicles can stop by the Zone 6 precinct and receive one.
Committee Updates
Last week, Zone 6 met for a Quarterly update with Major Webster. Crime stats are down rather astoundingly in Zone 6 and down for the entire city overall.

This will be shared in the GPNA newsletter as a follow up. 26 potential station locations; 14 in the Southeast, 12 in the Southwest. Evaluate the potential station locations identified in previous studies. Inform recommendations for preferred locations that optimize project goals. Provide a logical, defensible, and data driven process. Transportation & Pedestrian Improvements – Boulevard & Atlanta.
