August is a great time to enjoy your public pool! The water temperature is perfectly cool. The crowds of June have evaporated, and there hasn’t been a waiting line to get in.
As is their custom in previous years, the city changes pool hours to weekends-only throughout August:
Saturday 12:30pm – 6:30pm
Sunday 12:30pm – 6:30pm
Closed Monday – Friday
The last day of the 2024 Grant Park Pool season is Sunday, September 1.
Friends of Grant Park Pool uses donation funds to maintain a website presence and elevate communications from the city’s Aquatics Division. Donations are processed by the nonprofit Grant Park Conservancy, the Friends’ fiscal agent. Donations can be made at https://friendsofgrantparkpool.org/donate.
