We Want Your Old Books

The Friends of East Atlanta Library will again hold its annual book sale as part of the East Atlanta Strut on Saturday, September 17.
Book and CD donations will be collected from Friday, August 19 to Friday, September 9, at these locations:
East Atlanta Library:

Monday 10:00am to 8:00pm
Tuesday 10:00am to 6:00pm
Wednesday 10:00am to 8:00pm
Thursday, Friday, Saturday noon to 6:00pm

Traders:  Sundays from noon to 6:00pm
NOT accepted: magazines, out-of-date computer manuals, buggy or mildewed books, books with torn pages or no covers. Please no cat hair or really dirty books!
If you like touching real books (as opposed to those on electronic devices), volunteers for book sorting would be delightedly welcome any Monday, Wednesday, or Friday from 9:30am to noon beginning Monday, August 22. For further information, call 404-377-3077.
The annual book sale is the Friends’ major fundraiser each year. Proceeds from the sale are used to support the library’s programs and special needs. The Friends of East Atlanta Library is a 501(c) nonprofit volunteer group.
