By Henry BryantSenior Citizen residents of Atlanta are encouraged to apply for Water Shed’s Senior Citizen Discount and get 30% savings on their water and sewer bills. Here are the basic requirements: You must show a birth certificate, driver’s license, or other valid Georgia ID to verify your age and address. You will need to show a City of Atlanta water and sewer bill to show that you receive your water directly from the Atlanta Department of Watershed Management. You will need to show proof of income at $25,000 per year or less, such as a 2021 or 2022 Federal Income Tax form 1040 or 1099
