Here are a few healthy tips for your summer:
Laugh Out Loud – You read it right — LOL! Laughing not only eases stress, promotes social bonding and lowers your blood pressure, it may also boost your immune system. Laugh away!
Eat Your Breakfast – We know mornings are busy but don’t skip your breakfast! Fiber in the morning means less hunger later in the afternoon, when you’re most likely to go for the sugar-filled snacks.
Get Some Shuteye – Those late night shows are funny but they’re not worth the strain on your body. By getting seven hours of sleep a night, you not only live longer but you’re less stressed, your memory improves and you’re less likely to indulge in those sugar-filled snacks.
Taste The Colors – Summer allows us to enjoy some of the best foods, from fresh vegetables straight from a garden to delicious fruits. Foods with bright, rich colors are filled with vitamins and are good for your body (unfortunately, Skittles don’t count!).
