EAV-O-Ween 2023 will take place on Saturday, October 28 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm in East Atlanta Village (EAV). This beloved event is a collaboration between the East Atlanta Business Association (EABA), East Atlanta Parents Network (EAPN), and East Atlanta Community Association (EACA).
Families are encouraged to join for the walk-up costume contest at the East Atlanta Farmers Market at 3:00pm. There will be trick-or-treating in the business district from 3:30pm to 5:00pm. If you need a costume for your kids (or yourself!) come shop the costume closet at the EAV Farmers Market on Thursday, October 12 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Please donate your old costumes to kids and families that have none. They will be collected during regular business hours at Keller Knapp Realty, 471 Flat Shoals Avenue, through Wednesday, October 11.
If you are a business in the district interested in participating, get on the map by contacting Chelsea at hello@easatatlanatabiz.com to be added to the list. The deadline for sign-up is Friday, October 13. The map of participating businesses will be promoted via social media as well as a QR code on posters and signage.
Out of safety concerns, the organizers have asked that parents PLEASE leave your strollers and wagons at home when possible so that regular business patrons on a Saturday afternoon will not be pushed into the street and so that the EAV-O-Ween participants can get by on the sidewalks.
