East Atlanta’s Holiday Decoration Contest is already going on but the deadline to register for your house to compete is not until December 3. Everyone in East Atlanta (even if they are not a member of EACA) can register (or find out more information) by going to www.EACA.net. That will get decorated houses on the judge’s list. There will be prizes and the winners will be announced at the December EACA Holiday Potluck Dinner meeting on December 13 at Branan Towers.
In addition to lighting up the neighborhood, EACA also wants some of our less fortunate neighbors to have a good holiday. It is collecting money to donate to gift baskets for the seniors at Branan Towers. Residents will receive laundry baskets containing household items, including bottles of laundry detergent. EACA’s goal is to raise $600, which will provide enough to cover 150 bottles. Donate at www.eaca.net/donate and note your gift is meant for Branan.
