SEABA Updates

By Ashley McCartney
A huge thanks to Troy Willis and Aesthetically Correct Design for hosting our soiree on July 18! Troy graciously opened his beautiful home and office to more than 15 guests. There was a great representation of Cabbagetown businesses that contributed to the evening. Agave donated appetizers and the use of their parking lot, Milltown Arms Tavern donated beer and wine, Sweet Cheats donated desert and Little’s Grocery donated ice. Guests were impressed with the generosity of so many of Cabbagetown’s businesses at this one event. I sure was proud of my ‘hood!
Stay tuned for the meeting place of the networking soiree to be held on August 15 from 5:30 until 7:15 p.m.
In other news, SEABA will be hosting two candidate forums on September 19 and September 26. Both will be held at Zoo Atlanta from 7:00pm until 9:00pm on the respective dates. September 19 will be a forum for city council candidates and the mayor. September 26 will be a forum for school board candidates. Come out and hear what our candidates have to say.
