On August 16, Cube Gallery hosted our soiree. Milltown Arms Tavern generously provided complimentary snacks, wine and beer for our guests. Wow-those fritters sure were delicious! Chad Reilly from Cube Gallery was a gracious host. We had thirteen guests throughout the evening and Cube Gallery was a perfect space for relationship building. During our 60 second introductions, we learned about our new member, Zach Porter. He is a professional photographer in the area photographing everything from weddings to corporate events to photos for your website. He can be reached at zach@zachporter.com.
On September 20, 2012, Six Feet Under Pub and Fish House hosted our soiree on their beautiful rooftop deck. A huge thanks to Six Feet Under for their gracious hospitality and continued support! We again had thirteen guests, al biet different folks from the Cube Gallery soiree. Two of the new guests decided to become members. We welcome Lauren Hise of Baby Love (www.babyloveatlanta.com). Her company is focused on children’s products and services. We also welcome Jeffery Brower of “Just Call Jeff”. On October 18, 2012, Zoo Atlanta will be hosting our quarterly business luncheon from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Lanelle Henderson from Constant Contact will be giving a presentation about communicating with your market in the most effective way. Our Annual Meeting will be held on December 13 at Milltown Arms Tavern from 5:30 to 7:15. We will be partnering with Toys for Tots, so be sure to bring a toy. Come here about our plans for 2013.
In other news, we elected a new member to our Board of Directors due to a vacancy we needed to fill. We welcome Chris Balch of the Balch Law Group as our newest board member. We appreciate his willingness to serve and look forward to his contributions to SEABA.

SEABA (South East Atlanta Business Association) was created through the merger of the Reynoldstown/Cabbagetown Business Association and the Grant Park Merchants Association in 2006. Our most important goals are to strengthen and grow the business community and enhance the quality of life for all residents. SEABA is a 501(c)(6) non-profit corporation operated by volunteers.
