SEABA Updates

By Ashley McCartney

On July 25, 2014, Milltown Arms Tavern hosted our business networking soiree. As usual, the food, drinks and staff were unbeatable! Go twice a day! It’s good for you. We appreciate their continued support.
Our next event is pretty exciting! Allow me to invite you, on behalf of the Southeast Atlanta Business Association (SEABA)  to have “Lunch with your Elected Officials” at the SEABA Quarterly Luncheon, on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Noon in the ARC at Zoo Atlanta.  Invited officials include State Senator Nan Orrock,  State Representative Margaret Kaiser, Atlanta City Council Member Carla Smith (District 1), Atlanta Board of Education Member Leslie Grant (District 1), and newly elected Fulton County Commissioner , Marvin Arrington, Jr.(District 5).
Our panel will share their State, County, City, educational and legislative priorities.  We invite you to come, eat, listen, learn, network and enlighten your elected officials on the needs of our community.  This experience should enhance our elected officials awareness and support as they make decisions impacting education, safety, and economic development in Southeast Atlanta.

SEABA (South East Atlanta Business Association) was created through the merger of the Reynoldstown/Cabbagetown Business Association and the Grant Park Merchants Association in 2006. Our most important goals are to strengthen and grow the business community and enhance the quality of life for all residents. SEABA is a 501(c)(6) non-profit corporation operated by volunteers.
