The Porch Press is mailed to over 6,000 homes each month. In addition, we typically deliver 500 copies to locations across our distribution area – all of Neighborhood Planning Unit W (NPU-W), including the South Atlantans for Neighborhood Development (SAND), East Atlanta, and Grant Park neighborhoods as designated in the Atlanta City Charter.
We endeavor to mail to every household in those three neighborhoods, but we may have missed someone along the way. Our original mailing list was gathered by volunteers driving up and down the streets of NPU-W. Then over the years, houses have been demolished and vacant lots filled with houses.
To catch anyone who may have been missed, and to be balanced and fair, we have included a modest network of three pickup locations in each of the three neighborhoods. You can find our drop spots, racks, and boxes at the following locations:
East Atlanta
East Atlanta Library – 400 Flat Shoals Avenue
Grant Central Pizza East -1279 Glenwood Avenue
Joe’s Coffee House – 510 Flat Shoals Avenue
Grant Park
Porch Press Box – 458 Cherokee Avenue in front of Adams Realtors
Grant Park Coffee House – 337 Georgia Avenue
Grant Park Market – 519 Memorial Drive in The Larkin
SAND
Drip – 928 Garrett Street in Glenwood Park
Little Azio – 749 Moreland Avenue
Red’s Beer Garden -1328 Boulevard
The Porch Press is also delivered to pick-up spots with these Apartment/Rental Managers who have requested The Porch Press for their residents: Branan Towers, ENSO, and Adams Realtors.
