East Atlanta Village’s landmark fireworks event, New Year’s in East Atlanta Village, (NYEAV) is growing this year due in large part to generous neighbors, friends, and sponsors. Over the past two years, the East Atlanta Foundation (East Atlanta Craft Beer Festival) sponsored this event, supported by the hundreds of neighbors joining together to witness an amazing spectacle of light and sound right in the heart of the Village.
This third year of NYEAV will be another amazing event to behold. There will be two shows: one at 8:00PM for kids and one at midnight for adults in the Holy Taco and SunTrust parking lots. There will be live music and a ticketed event at Motor City South with drinks and more. All this is due in large part to community involvement by neighbors and businesses. While the past two years, have managed to captivate the neighborhood with very little financial backing, this year, looking to offset the costs for the fireworks display, a GoFundMe account was set up that exceeded expectations, guaranteeing the best New Year’s Eve fireworks and party that East Atlanta has seen. Come out and ring in the New Year with your East Atlanta neighbors, family, and friends.
