A heavily used, worn footpath on the west side of Flat Shoals Avenue between Ormewood Avenue and Cloverdale Drive was replaced by new sidewalks earlier this summer. As soon as the concrete hardened, area pedestrians eagerly put the much-needed sidewalks to use. Even before the concrete forms could be removed, the sidewalks were serving their purpose.
