On December 18, from 1:00pm to 5:00pm, SANDS Community local author, Joe Freeman will hold his first Local Author showcase. The showcase will feature seven amazing Atlanta based authors, including some nationally recognized, the opportunity to meet, engage, and inspire friends from the community while selling their products and services to people of all ages.
Guac & Margys will host the event at their 502 Amsterdam Avenue (Atlanta 30306) location, only steps away from Piedmont Park and Atlanta Beltline. If you are looking for great food and a family friendly, inclusive environment with some of Atlanta’s best writers. Then you have found the perfect event to purchase great holiday gifts all while supporting local and sustainable industries. The purpose of this event is to highlight and support astonishing local talent, while inspiring young and old from the community.
Joe Freeman is a writer, father, business owner and teacher. He has been featured in numerous magazines and is also an adventurous amateur explorer, though he has never actually knowingly discovered anything. The SANDS community has been a jewel for him and his family because of its many tranquil spaces.
