Come meet your neighbors and friends around Milton Place on June 8 for a taco potluck, which includes music, craft beer and soda tastings, and mayhem for all ages. Mayhem on Milton, an event to build community, solidarity, and security in East Atlanta, begins at 2:00pm. Bring tacos, nachos, chips, beans, meat, tofu, salads, and toppings for a potluck. Come with your best guacamole, salsa, and pico de gallo and let the people decide who has the best topping. There will be live music by Chickens and Pigs, Floating Coats, Black Cat Rising, and classic rock-n-soul vinyl sets by Fringe Factory with DJ Vikki V among others. There will be craft beer and home-brew tastings with people’s choice voting for best brew.
Mayhem on Milton will take place Saturday, June 8, from 2:00pm to 8:00pm on the 1300 block of Milton Place SE (between Flat Shoals and Stokeswood Avenue). Contact Laird Ruth at 678-457-3285 for details.
(This program is supported in part by the Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs. A City of Atlanta grant to your East Atlanta Community Association provides funding for this event.)
