To let you know what your choices are, below is a short guide to the contested races for residents in the Porch Press area, including links to the candidates’ websites where available.

SPECIAL ELECTION, September 29, 2020

This purpose for this special election is to fill the currently vacant seat, most recently held by Congressman John Lewis, for the Georgia 5th Congressional District for the U.S. House of Representatives. This person will hold office until January 2021, after which the duly elected person for the next full term will be seated. The following persons are running: Robert M. It’s the big one—the Presidential Election and for Georgians, two Senate races! This ballot will be a long one because it will include candidates for the U.S. House and Senate, Georgia House and Senate, and local races as well as several ballot questions.
