Did you know that Atlanta has one of the only brick and mortar burlesque schools in the world? Operating since 2013, the school is owned and operated by Roula Roulette, an award-winning teacher, performer, and show producer with roots in theater and lighting design. Roula is passionate about the history, evolution and impact of burlesque as a political, humorous, and charismatic art form.
The school teaches that burlesque is an art form that is accessible to everyone. Educating people in the art of the tease since 2013, it is the South’s comprehensive burlesque education program, featuring drop-in classes, shows, weekenders, and a career track called Burlesque Academy. The school is dedicated to putting the best burlesque possible on stage, so it is their imperative to provide students opportunities to learn.
Drop-in classes include: Rhythm with Roula, Synergetic Flow, Liquid Motion, Sexify, Fat Babe Finesse, Beginner Contemporary Ballet, Manifestation Through Movement, Walk this Way Heels Class, Stretch Strengthen and Flex, and Titty Church.
