Join The Porch Press Editorial Team!

By Stephanie Fretwell-Hill
Want to get involved in your neighborhood community? Have an eye for a really great sentence? Love talking grammar and syntax with fellow word-nerds?
The Porch Press is looking for new editors to represent East Atlanta and SAND (including Benteen Park, Boulevard Heights, McDonough-Guice, Glenwood Park/Ormewood Park/North Ormewood Park, and Woodland Hills). The neighborhood editors collect, format, and edit articles each month, then send them on to the coordinating editor in time for the paper’s deadline. Please note that editors need to live in the neighborhood they edit, so we are looking specifically for SAND and East Atlanta residents only. If you’d like to get involved, we’d love to hear from you. We are a friendly and welcoming group of volunteers. Please contact for more information.
Wondering who our current volunteer editors are?
