Join The Porch Press Editorial Team!

By Stephanie Fretwell-Hill
Want to get involved in your neighborhood community? Have an eye for a really great sentence? Love talking grammar and syntax with fellow word-nerds?
The Porch Press is looking for new editors to represent East Atlanta and SAND (including Benteen Park, Boulevard Heights, McDonough-Guice, Glenwood Park/Ormewood Park/North Ormewood Park, and Woodland Hills). The neighborhood editors collect, format, and edit articles each month, then send them on to the coordinating editor in time for the paper’s deadline. Please note that editors need to live in the neighborhood they edit, so we are looking specifically for SAND and East Atlanta residents only. If you’d like to get involved, we’d love to hear from you. We are a friendly and welcoming group of volunteers. Please contact editor@theporchpress.com for more information.
Wondering who our current volunteer editors are?

He is a Realtor affiliated with the Keller Williams Realty office in Midtown and has been a Porch Press editor and board member since 2005. He has also held positions as the East Atlanta Business Association President and NPU-W Representative. (eaveditor@theporchpress.com)

SAND Editor (temporary): Kristin Andris has been a Grant Park resident since March 2013 and has been volunteering with The Porch Press since July 2013. She is also the secretary of the Grant Park Neighborhood Association. She lives with her husband and their dog and works as a public relations manager. (sandeditor@theporchpress.com)
